Nov. 19-8pm at The Convocation Center: Taking Back Sunday/The All-American Rejects/Anberlin
APPS Concerts brings the Warped Tour to your doorstep! Come out and see three of the best alternative rock bands touring today.
New York's own Taking Back Sunday, is a chart topping alt-rock band with a mission; to take over the world.
With three albums already hitting Gold, appearences on late night TV and Co-headlining the Warped Package; Taking Back Sunday are well on their way. From heavy vocal stylings, engaging pop hooks and high-octane, guitar-laden breakdowns, TBS has a little something for everybody.
International pop sensation, The All-American Rejects, co-headline the bill. Since high school, this quartet
from Oklahoma has been on the scene and taking names. With influences coming from The Cure, Green Day and Weezer; this alternative rock band has been able to win over fans all over the world. Recently they have toured with Hoobastank, had their music featured in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and were a large part of the Blink-182 Reunion Tour.
Also featured on the bill is one of alt-rocks most dynamic bands, Anberlin. After 6 years of touring and 4
full-length albums, Anberlin has made themselves a mainstay in the alt-rock scene. After touring with My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, Anberlin has taken a more mature look at songwriting. This is shown in their ability to create gentle harmonies one minute and raw, distortion-drenched rock the next.
