On behalf of the APPS Films Council, We would like to thank everyone who has attended our showings for making this a very successful semester.
We do need to announce two changes in our upcoming schedule.
For International Education Week, APPS will be offering /Downfall /at I.G. Greer, November 19-21. Due to the length of the film, we will only be offering one showing each night at 7:00pm. As a reminder, we will also be showing /Seven Samurai /in the Greenbriar Theater on November 18 and 20 at 7:00pm.

DNov. 18th and 20th at 7pm in Greenbriar Cinema: The Seven Samurai presented by APPS Films

International Education Week and APPS Films present a film abuot a japanese farming village, constantly beseiged and pillaged by an army of bandits, recruits seven independent samurai to defend it.
Film screening is at 7pm
Admission is $1 and the event is open to the public
Nov. 20th-6pm at Legends: Contra/Square Dance presented by Appalachian Heritage
Come out and lose a few pounds before your Thanksgiving feast! Phil Jamison will be making the calls as The New Southern Ramblers play the tunes. All the fun starts at 7pm! As always, the night starts out with a beginner lesson to be followed by the real deal. Bring your partner as this will be a night to remember!
Admission is $4 for students and $5 for guests
Dec 3rd-9pm at Legends: Harvard with Junior Astronomers presented by Club Shows
Describing Harvard only takes four words: Beautiful, Dark, Intricate and Catchy. This quintet from Charlotte combines the flare of indie rock and pop sensibility with a topping of post-hardcore sound. Their moving rhythms, swirling guitar and female lead vocals will saturate your soul with sweet melodies. Come out to Legends to support Harvard during their debut release weekend for The Inevitible and I.
Junior Astronomers from Charlotte will open the show.
Tickets are available for this event at the Plemmons Student Union Info Desk. Student advance tickets are $4 and guest tickets are $6. This is a BYOB event
